The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has changed the kickoff time to 5:30 PM Central African Time (6:30PM EAT). Both Uganda and Zambia have agreed to have seven substitutes in the game.
The two will use the tie as preparation for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, with Uganda’s campaign starting in preliminaries in May against an opponent to be known after next month’s draws while Zambia’s kicks off in September in the group stage proper.
Uganda should know plenty about Zambia and their style of play having making their last trip to Zambia that ended in a 1-0 defeat in 2012 while the pair last met at Namboole in Kampala with the Chipolopolo winning the match 9-8 in penalties (1-0 to Uganda in normal time) to qualify for the 2013 Nations Cup.
With University of Pretoria striker Geoffrey Massa ruled out of the tie due to injury, Daniel Sserunkuma, Emmanuel Okwi and Hamis Kiiza will fight it out to lead the Cranes attack.
