Airtel Uganda yesterday opened a new premium customer care center in Gulu Town
The function was presided over by Gulu Mayor, His Lordship George Labejja, Airtel Distribution Director Mr. Michael Walekwa, representatives from Gulu Town Council as well as members of the Gulu business community and high value customers.
In a major move to enhance customer experience, Airtel has continued to launch premium shops and customer care centers countrywide with more openings to follow in the months to come.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Michael Walekwa of Airtel Uganda said “Extending the Airtel network services signals a real stake in the ground for leadership in the telecommunications industry.
It has been our endeavor to enhance the customer experience for our more than 7.2 million customers. Through our service centers found in central and accessible locations, convenient opening hours, and superior merchandise, we have an opportunity to give our customers the overall retail experience that Airtel has to offer.
The launch of more shops around the country is a significant achievement for us and underlines the importance of engaging with our consumers on a daily basis.”
