Benard Agere Vows SCVU Will Fight KCCA And Vipers To The last Game For Title

Following his side will finally end a winless league streak, SC Victoria University defender Benard Agere is confident they will pick maximum points against sworn rivals Kiira Young today and keep pressure on leaders KCCA and SC Vipers.

SCVU will be the away side in Tuesday’s fixture between the two sides at Namboole Stadium.

League matches between SCVU and Kira Young have all ended in draws and Morley Byekwaso’s side remain firmly in the picture and the battle looks likely to remain tight over the final weeks of the season.

Agere tells Red Pepper Online edition: “We will fight until the end. “All the coach and management want is us to win. “Obviously we are not happy about the lost points but we know we have still got matches ahead. “We’re looking for strong characters in this match. Everyone has to be ready to go out there and get maximum points. We have few games to go and we have to finish as strong as possible,” Byekwaso also told the club website.

SCVU is unbeaten in three matches and is currently on 45 points, one point behind leaders KCCA while Kiira are in 7th six points adrift the leaders.
