FUFA Big League side The Saints FC youngster Ronald Musana is confident that they will end their season on a high by edging out home side Wandegeya FC on Wednesday 30 April at Kiteezi grounds starting 1600 hours local time.
In an interview with Red Pepper, Musana said they have prepared well for their second last game of the season and in spite of them knowing the Rwenzori group playoffs spot advantage was taken out of their hands when FUFA docked Artland K for fielding ineligible players and awarded Mutundwe Lions FC three goals and three points.
“We have prepared well for the match and our main focus is to try and win in order to put pressure on Mutundwe, the former SC Villa youngster said.
“We know about our opponents thus cannot afford to underrate. It could have been an added advantage to us had the dockings not altered the log but that aside, we are confident we shall emerge victorious.
After Wandegeya, The Saints end the regular season against Ndejje University FC at Namboole. The game is currently fixed for May 10.
Elsewhere, table leaders, Lweza football club (on 37 points) shall be taking on second placed Baza Holdings football club at the Nsambya based Villa Park ground in Kampala.
With 3 games for either sides to the end of the league, the winner of this fixture will most certainly be in the spotlight for that automatic slot for the group winner to the FUFA Super league.
Third placed Mutundwe Lions (on 30 points) hosts Ndejje University at Lugogo Stadium.
