The latest reaching our gossip desks indicate that Redds an alcoholic brand with Nile Breweries has pulled out their sponsorship with Miss Uganda World beauty pageant.
Nile Breweries Limited through their brand Redds has been injecting over 300million shillings annually in the beauty pageant.
According to our highly placed sources at Nile Breweries, the sponsorship was with withdrawn because the annual evaluation showed that Redds as a brand was not getting the value of the money injected in.
The sponsorship withdraw, shocked the Miss Uganda world organizer Brenda Nanyonjo and the entire crew of Kezzi entertainment since most of the finances in the project were obtained through this sponsorship.
Sources have further confirmed to us that the offices of Miss Uganda world based in the industrial area near Fenon records have been closed for months now.
Sources have also revealed that if another sponsor is not brought on board, the regional search for Miss Uganda will be done online.
