Redds Withdraws Miss Uganda Sponsorship

The latest reaching our gossip desks indicate that Redds an alcoholic brand with Nile Breweries has pulled out their sponsorship with Miss Uganda World beauty pageant.

Nile Breweries Limited through their brand Redds has been injecting over 300million shillings annually in the beauty pageant.

According to our highly placed sources at Nile Breweries, the sponsorship was with withdrawn because the annual evaluation showed that Redds as a brand was not getting the value of the money injected in.

The sponsorship withdraw, shocked the Miss Uganda world organizer Brenda Nanyonjo and the entire crew of Kezzi entertainment since most of the finances in the project were obtained through this sponsorship.

Sources have further confirmed to us that the offices of Miss Uganda world based in the industrial area near Fenon records have been closed for months now.

Sources have also revealed that if another sponsor is not brought on board, the regional search for Miss Uganda will be done online.

  1. Considering the calibre of the end product of these searches, I’d pull out even if it were me who was injecting money into this venture. U look at a purported Miss Uganda these days and u’re just left such a state. At some point I thought that maybe Nalongo Katogo had come to witness the finals , but I was baffled to hear the MC announce her as Miss Uganda, I was like “what that cockpit is going on ?”

  2. After the contest and winning, where do they go and what do they contribute to the country? They even don’t participate in community/voluntary work like other Miss in some countries. Thanks to REDDS. Give your money to charity rather than these girls.
