Gulu Singer Wanted For Robbery

Allan Odoch alias Smokie, a popular artist in Gulu is at large for alleged theft of property in Nwoya district.
Smokie who is well known for his songs Muyaye, Madamse, and walk away is wanted by police in connection to theft of 2 motorbikes, four laptops, four sports bikes and about six computers stolen from Alero sub county.
Patrick Jimmy Okema, the Aswa regions police spokesperson says Smokie is also accused of conniving with thugs to sell stolen property. Okema says that however much Smokie runs he will be pursued for his actions.
Okema says Smokie’s accomplices he identifies as Fred Wac and Julius Omwony Nyerere are already in custody. He says they will use the suspects to disclose the whereabouts of the artists. The duo claims that, Smokie is the main dealer of stolen property.
