REVEALED: Uganda Cranes Unveil Their New Namboole Jersey

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) have officially unveiled Uganda Cranes’ new home jersey.

Made by Kwela a Kampala based firm according to speculations, the new Uganda home kit has a strong whiff of a Zambia Chipolopolo knock-off design about it, though in red shirt with a yellow strip that runs on the left side from top to bottom.

In fact, the style of shirt seems not to be in homage to usual yellow ‘Uganda’ jersey at all and a collar -less jersey unlike the previous mode.

Addressing journalists at the launch of the new uniform, FUFA Finance Director Decolas Kiiza said the new design is in line with FUFA’s latest policy of rebranding.

So far, the federation is still in negotiations with an official and international kit manufacturer to dress the National team according to FUFA spokesman Ahmed Hussein.

It also has the Uganda National flag but no crested CRANE!
