Uganda Play Madagascar On 18th May

FUFA has announced that the Uganda Cranes 2015 AFCON first leg preliminary tie against Madagascar will be played at the Rabemananjara- Mahanganga stadium on 18th May 2014.

The revelation was made at the FA headquarters in Mengo in Wednesday morning during the weekly press briefing by the national team technical wing led by Mujib Kasule and Uganda coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic.

Uganda, who last featured in the 1978 AFCON in Ghana, have been drawn to start their campaign against lowly-ranked Madagascar, before facing the winner between Mauritania and Equatorial Guinea in the last hurdle in the preliminary round of the qualifiers.

The Cranes are expected to start preparations for the preliminary round of the 2015 AFCON tomorrow with the local-based players and the Tanzania-based professionals who are on holiday reporting to camp.
