Croatia Players Refuse To Speak To Media After Naked Hotel Pictures Are Published

CroatiaThe Croatian squad at the World Cup have refused to speak to their media after naked pictures of them at their hotel pool leaked over the weekend.

Unless forced to by FIFA protocol, the Croatia squad will not speak to any media having been pictured naked at a pool in their hotel in Bahia.

Having been frustrated by Japanese referee Yuichi Nishimura in their first game, the opening match defeat to Brazil, the Croatia squad relaxed at their hotel on Saturday.

Pictures of Dejan Lovren, Darijo Srna, Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric leaked into the Croatia media, and the players are understandably unhappy.

Southampton defender Dejan Lovren appears to have had his back side splashed all around the Croatian press.

Croatia next play at the World Cup on Wednesday against Cameroon.

Coach Niko Kovac has played down the incident, joking that he is happy his players are not “constrained”.

We unfornately can’t publish all the not so friendly at work pictures.
