City comedian Kato Lubwama has vowed to unseat his fellow political ‘comedian’ John Ken Lukyamuzi come 2016.
Our highly placed sources close to Kato Lubwama confirmed to the Red pepper online that he has the intentions of representing Rubaga South in the Ugandan parliament.
Lubwama also revealed that once he ousts the motor mouthed Conservative party leader Ken Lukyamuzi, he will retire from comedy to concentrate on his political career.
Lubwama is not the first comedian to try out politics. Recently, Charles Ssenkubuge well known as Siasa and the late Paddy Bitaama Ssali contested against Museveni in the previous presidential elections.
Some Lubaga South voters said that they will support Lubwama as long as the bid is not one of his comedy episodes.
