KO: Amama Mbabazi World’s Most Active Leader on Twitter

Amama-Mbabazi-1Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi is the most conversational world leader on Twitter.

The Premier’s handle @AmamaMbabazi as of June 25th 2014 had 33,268 followers has a 95% tweet replies a leading global public relations and communications firm and associate of fireworks Advertising in Uganda reveals.

The study which also revealed that Kenya’s Uhuru Kenyatta (@UKenyatta) is Africa’s most-followed president, with 456,209 followers, ahead of Rwanda’s @PaulKagame and South Africa’s Jacob Zuma (@SAPresident).

“It is a good thing, considering the fact that majority of MPs are having problems with figuring out how to use the iPads bought for them,” Ruth Aine Tindyebwa, an online trender, says

“Mbabazi being online has a lot to do with him being a person that easily adapts to technology which is a good thing as well. That is what should be celebrated.”

The news might not go well with Commander-in-chief Gen Museveni his boss who is believed to have launched a massive catch-up plot with the youth vote ahead of the 2016 elections by joining twitter; @KagutaMuseveni with such a stride. Mbabazi is said to habour ambitions of the top office in the land.
