Teremuga Primary School’s 14 year old Primary Seven boy Ezra Bida is the youngest player involved for Uganda after FUFA has today released the names for the National U-17 football team- The Cubs.

Bida was the MVP West Nile Region-during the Airtel Rising stars season 4.

The squad named comprises of excelling youngsters various National youth football championships. It has 3 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 7 midfielders and 6 strikers.

“He is fast, strong in all aspects, dynamic and very talented,” says Head coach Matia Lule about Bida.

The 21 have already entered residential training at Njeru Technical center.

The squad will be trimmed to 18, who will travel two days before the match whose winner will play Rwanda in the next stage for the U-17 Championship final will take place in Niger next year.
