“The game was average and it could have gone either way” noted a VVC fan. The VVC technical bench where also wary of the match officials. “They made decisions that in our opinion were not right” said Head coach Hanington Nsubuga. The officials denied a VVC player playing time due to wrong numbering on the uniform.

“VVC is a growing team and every fixture is a lesson for us, and we hope to come back stronger in the next encounters,” Nsubuga added.

VVC leading the table with 25 points have lost 2 of the 10 encounters followed by KCCA. Defending Champions Ndejje lies 6th with four games played.

In the men’s fixture, Sport-S made a stroll over Nkumba University with a 3-0 score line. (25-20, 25-18, 25-19).

Ivan ongom and Dikens otim made a few kills to secure maximum points. A tactical gamble by Coach Bavuga Benon to play Mustapha Mulondo wide paid off. Mulondo came on for Patrick Musoke who had a below per night. The win lifted sport S to 4th place with 18 points 6 adrift of table leaders KAVC.
