After agreeing to a deal in principle early in June, Kampala City Council (KCC) have officially brought aboard 25-year-old goalkeeper Ashadu Bugembe from Kiira Young.
The transfer, which is reportedly worth Ugs 10 million, is KCC’s first as they chase the acquisition of another goal keeper and three outfield players.
“I want to thank coach George Nsimbe for trusting me and allowing me to play here,” said Ashadu in his first interview with Red Pepper Online edition. “I am proud to be a part of the family and I am looking forward to playing here. I will give it my best.”
The reigning Uganda league are also trying to finalise the signing of goal keeper, Bob Agandu formerly at Buddo SS, who has spent several days on trial with the FUFA Super league outfit last week.
First choice goalie, Jamal Salim was exported to El Merriekh f.c for a reported $ 40,000 deal.
