A six storied building has today morning collapsed in Kansanga, a Kampala suburb.
Sources at the collapsed building have revealed that two people were critically injured by the debris that was falling from the building.
Residents of Church Zone, Kansanga attributed the accident to poor construction, alleging that the Building had no professional engineers.
“This building has been in a poor state and I think the engineers are not professionals,” said one of the residents.
The collapsed building is owned by Hajjat Jamila Nizza.
In the past few years, several building have been collapsing and this has been greatly attributed to the poorly trained engineers on site.
