“So Mr. Bebe Cool, I CHALLENGE YOU TO APOLOGIZE TO THE PEOPLE OF SOUTH SUDAN. It will save you a lot of hate and it will build a good relationship between our people, Ugandans and Sudanese,” Bobi posted on his Facebook Page.

Bobi Wine further stressed that the challenge will be valid for one week.

Below is Bobi Wine’s full statement.

OK, I must express my disappointment. Governments of different countries have always had misunderstandings, some even go to war, but this has never stopped the citizens of those countries from working together.

Allow me to remind you big brother that some time ago the governments of Uganda and Rwanda had some misunderstandings and the two armies even clashed in Kisangani, take an example of the Uganda /Kenya clash over #migingoIsland etc… but government business never stopped citizens of the two countries from living like brothers and sisters.

We all do not want governments of other countries to deny our people work opportunities because we accommodate theirs, but I think it’s rather careless to attack an ENTIRE POPULATION OF A COUNTRY because of a government policy.

I have personally done some business with South Sudanese and a lot of them are good people .

When Amin expelled Indians from Uganda in the 1970s, if the Indians had your kind of mindset, You would not have Sudir seated in your audience today.

So Mr. Bebe Cool, I CHALLENGE YOU TO APOLOGIZE TO THE PEOPLE OF SOUTH SUDAN. it will save you a lot of hate and it will build a good relationship between our people, Ugandans and Sudanese.

NB: This challenge is valid for only Seven days(1week)

  1. Bobi you have told the man the truth. We need people like bobi wine who think and speak out the truth.Bebe cool must know he is an influential person, he should preach tolerance.Africa will only go forward if we embrace that value. The poor sudanese are just struggling like you and me,they have no power over their government.

    1. Chebet,i like your comment,u r too Africanic n i like this continent to hve people like u.u thoughts r beyond the borders.keep it up.not everyone is good even in ug we hve people with rare behviours but that doesn’t mean every ug citizen behaves that way.i studied their(Ug) n most of my friends r ug guys i even helped them get jobs in south sudan.that how to give back to ug regarles of some challenges we faced there.

      1. Machar be easy bebecool only said if Ugandans are chased from your country he would implement his decision. We are all brothers and sisters we should stay together in harmony. Nothing will happen to any Sudanese in Uganda but you guys should also treat us the same way, Your gov’t should chase Ugandans from sudan. 15TH OCTOBER IS THE DATE and we are waiting to see what happens

  2. Dear Bebe Cool we South Sudanese are trying to impose ban to your music country wide and rate you to non Pan African Musican

    1. Did u understand bebecool’s statement very well? he said if your gov’t chases Ugandans from Sudan from 15th October you will not be attending his shows. it was that simple. So it is up to you to tell your government to leave our people in peace then there will not be any problem.

  3. Bobiwine is looking for sympathy after having succesive fruitless years in terms of music. He is now looking for attension so that people can get to his upcoming show. It was just logica enough for him. He should have noticed if he understands some little English that BEBECOOL as a Ugandan put a warning and it was to be effected if Ugandans were chased out of Sudan. The validity of his statement was very clear. South Sudan govt retrieved their original stand and things went back to normal. Besides when BEBECOOL prohibits some people from attending his shows how does it become BOBIWINE’s problem? It’s bebecool who looses money when they don’t attend. Bobi wine should concentrate on producing good music instead of poking his nose into other people’s business. Just a day before he was attacking the sacked Prime minister. U can all boldly see this guy is looking for attension and i predict a flop at his coming show.
