Uganda Cranes 5 – 0 Northern Region Team – Pece Stadium, Gulu

Cranes1Uganda Cranes on Sunday humiliated the Northern region select team at Pece Stadiumin the Cranes Na Mutima campaign.

A minute’s silence in honour of the departed Uganda Cranes star and captain of the 1960’s, Parry Oketch was observed. With Cranes preparing to face Togo at Namboole on October 11, Micho used the Sunday fixture to gauge some of his players.

Goals by Karim Ndugwa (36th minute), William Wadri (43rd minute), Saidi Kyeyune (brace) and a Richard Langoya own goal after 58 minutes have given Cranes a comfortable win.

Uganda is preparing for the upcoming AFCON 2015 qualifier against Togo at Namboole Stadium that will take place on 11th October 2014.

The Cranes Na Mutima tour, facilitated by Nile Special, is meant to rally support for the national team countrywide.

  1. That wasn’t the north but part of the north.
    cos the team did not integrate with all players in the region but a select few from Gulu.
    Even the select team in the regional league can give cranes a run for their money
