Police vs SC Villa-Kavumba
Karim Ndugwa’s scoring form over the last two weeks has delighted Uganda coach Micho Sredejovic.
The 25-year-old striker has been in consistent form for both club and country over the last few days scoring three goals.
Two of those goals alone have been for his new club in the Uganda Premier League SC Villa.
“Of course Karim scored when we Northern region in the Cranes Na Mutima campaign, but we want to see more goals from him as that’s a role of a striker,” Micho tells Red Pepper Online.
“Ndugwa is performing his role as a striker and I want him to remain focused.”
Uganda is preparing for the upcoming AFCON 2015 qualifier against Togo at Namboole Stadium that will take place on 11th October 2014 and the striker is hoping to force himself into Micho’s final team for the tie.
The former Express striker will lead table leaders Villa’s goal hunt on Tuesday evening against an unbeaten Cops side away at Kavumba Recreational grounds.
