According to Mr Innocent Tibayeita, the head of Sales and Marketing, the Buzz Leavers Rock is a platform for all teens to showcase their bold, daring and adventurous traits as they wind off the school year.

“Buzz Leavers Rock fits in well with brand Mountain Dew’s attributes. It is an event to let loose and show your bold, daring, different and adventurous side after a long school session. As Mountain Dew, we want the youth to know that we recognize all this and are giving them the platform to amplify that,” says Mr Tibayeita.

Party revellers this year should expect performances from Dr. Chameleone, Cindy, the dynamic duo of Radio and Weasel, Irene Ntale, Pallaso, Fille and A-Pass, among others. Last year, Peter Miles, Vampino, Navio, Irene Ntale, Reef HD, Santana, Fille and Toniks left the partiers yearning for more as they took them through their hit songs all day.

Our snoops have since also learned that two floors of Garden City will be occupied by the teens.

Among other sections will be a gaming hub, cafeteria, VIP section where teens will have a meet-and-greet session with their celebrities, a social media corner where internet will be free for all.

To spin the discs will be Deejays Shiru, Roja, Urbanstar, Slick Stuart, KasBaby, Mark, and Vito. Organisers say for only shs10, 000, which will come with a free Mountain Dew, teens will be able to experience all this.
