The latest on our gossip desks indicate that female singer Irene Namubiru has fired her local manager and signed for a UK based music management label, Grajoh
“We are ecstatic to announce that renowned international vocalist Irene Namubiru will be managed by Grajoh LTD effective today,” said Grajoh Talent Management boss Johnson Mujungu.
Mujungu further said that; “Throughout her career, international song bird Irene has consistently gotten better at what she does best and won the fans admiration as one of Uganda’s best female vocalist.”
For years, Irene has been managed by her brother Thaddeus Mubiru.
Irene Namubiru started her professional music career twelve years back with Juliana Kanyomozi.
They formed I-Jay group and after discovering that the group was not yielding the much needed success, Iryn and Juliana dissolved the crew and went for solo careers.
The decision of disbanding I-Jay eventually paid off as Iryn became a popular name in Uganda’s music industry.
Up to date, Iryn Namubiru is still solo and doing extremely well. She has several music awards for her great songs. Iryn Namubiru has worked with several big names in Uganda’s music industry.
These include Sweet Kid, Bebe Cool and Doctor Jose Chameleone.
