Kakindu based football club BUL FC has denied any speculation that their playmaker Robert Achema had left the club for SC Villa.
The talks unsettled the club and tactician Keffa Kisala who had earlier been accused of falling out with the player hence dropping him from the starting lineup
“We can confirm that Robert Achema has renewed his contract with the club for two more years. This is to put to rest the allegations that the player has crossed Sc Villa,” the club confirmed through one of their social media platforms
Achema renewing his contract with the club for two more years is an assurance that the player is to stay at Kakindu until 2017.
The club further went on to convene a management meeting to iron out the player issues, transfers as well as the chain of command at the team.
BUL FC will on Thursday, 15th January resume training ahead of the 2nd round of the Uganda Premier League. They are fifth on the table standings with 23 points.
