KCCA FC’s former attacking midfielder Brian Majwega created the two goals scored in each half for the Tanzanian League Champions.

Skipper John Raphael Bocco made it 1-0 after 38 minutes at the Amman Stadium, but William Wadri equalized few minutes into the second half.

Azam FC netted their second goal after 53 minutes when Salum Abubakar nodded in a Majwega corner kick. But Tom Matsiko ensured KCCA FC picked a draw with a well taken goal.

The two teams are preparing for the 2015 lucrative CAF Champions League where Azam FC will face El Merreikh (Sudan) and KCCA FC face Cameroon’s Cosmos de Bafia in the preliminary round.

Abdallah Mubiru’s KCCA FC, which is missing four key players in the tournament, will next face Zanzibar’s Mtende FC on Sunday.

Mtende, the Zanzibar League Champions played to a goalless draw in the first game played on Friday.

Mubiru told our reporters on phone from Zanzibar that they are comfortable with the draw and will work hard to win the second game.
