Andrew Felix Kaweesi, the operations commander Uganda Police disclosed this to our reporters  this morning.

Kaweesi who declined to reveal the identity of the suspect for fear of jeopardizing police investigations says they will apprehend all the recruits so as to establish the nature of training they received and how they have been using the skills.

The suspected ADF instructor is one of the 10 people who were picked up in a week long convert operation by police in different parts of the country.

Three of the suspects were arrested in Jinja and the suspected ADF instructor was netted in Katwe after a wild goose chase by police detectives.

The instructor is said to have been found in possession of a satellite phone, which enabled him to conceal his location.

He and other suspects are believed to be part of an operation by the ADF that has seen murder of very many people and the muslin clerics.

During the arrest, police also recovered documentary evidence including lists of recruits and planned ADF attacks. According to Kaweesi, the murder of Muslim clerics is a diversion by the ADF from their plan.

He says their intelligence shows that, the murders are intended to create fear in society as well as an impression that government cannot take care of its citizens.
