The Saints FC officially unveiled their first signing, Saad Kibirango at their home grounds, Namboole stadium this afternoon.
Saad Kibirango joined The Saints from Lweza FC on a one year loan contract agreement that will keep him at the club until December 2015.
He had his first training with the rest of the players today at Namboole training grounds.
The former KCC Player was Lweza’s top scorer in the FUFA Big League with nine goals that helped the Kajjansi side get promoted to Uganda Premier League.
“I have been scoring goals and that is all I am here to do,” the excited forward said.
Kibirango will help his teammates, Alex Kitata, Fred Kyambadde and Jordan Tamale up front in the second round as the team continues its quest for promotion into the top flight.
Meanwhile, Rajab Jooga’s loan deal with The Saints ended last month and he will go back to his parent club Sports Club Victoria University Football Club while goal keeper Mustapha Kasule will go on loan to Buganda Regional side Azam FC.
The Saints resumed training today as they prepare for the second round; however there are a few more signings that expect to be sealed before the end of the January transfer window.
