Midfielder Farouk Miya will skipper the team as they struggle to get a win away from home before the return leg.

Head Coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic told our reporters before the team headed to Entebbe International Airport on Wednesday that he expects the boys to put up a good show.

He said although his team has a big striking line problem, he has tried to work hard to get them into shape.

The coach who failed to qualify the Uganda Cranes for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) said they will try to score as many goals as possible in this away game to make work easier in the return leg.

Team manager Patrick Ntege said they are optimistic the team will perform well in Maputo.

He explained that since the senior team failed to qualify for the 2015 Afcon, it would be good for the youngsters to qualify for the All Africa Games so that the team can be built for the future.

Besides Miya, the other experienced players on the squad include; goalkeeper Isma Watenga, Gaddafi Kiwanuka and Martin Kiiza.
