KCCA’s loss to Sadolin FC on Tuesday has not only meant a slip in their chances to retain last season’s championship but has ruffled the emotions of a huge chunk of their fans. This has sparked off calls for the sacking of club Boss Abudallah Mubiru. Fans want him out as soon as possible.
The furious fans went ahead to pelt him with stones and attempted to vandalise office. This chaos was rebuffed by the security Phillip Omondi stadium the home grounds of KCCA FC.
Angry chants of, “We want you out of our club. Go back to primary football, KCCA is a club not a primary school team,” were heard from the fans.
The fans accuse Mubiru of tinkering and being behind the rift between George Nsimbe and the club administrators which caused the latter to quit.
Abdallah Mubiru was confirmed KCCA FC Boss on November 26th 2014 after former Boss George Nsimbe threw in the towel to go join Azam Fc a Tanzania based outfit. Stewards had to escort Mubiru out of the dressing rooms to his motor vehicle to protect him from the irate fans. He missed the post match press conference after the 1-2 home loss to Sadolin FC.
