Ethics and Integrity ministry and Uganda Police force raided Kampala city top bar and arrested 50 bean vendors and their clients.
The raid was carried out GEKA Motel in Bakuli Old Kampala in Lubaga division.
Detectives from the ministry of Ethics and Integrity were headed by Godfrey Mbonimpa the head of media crime unit and Sam Omara the commandant Field Force unit Kampala metropolitan.
Among the 50 people netted 21 girls were found having live sex on stage with men while others were found watching the live sex as opposed to anti pornography law.
Patrick Onyango the Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson said those arrested will be arraigned before and face the law adding that the crackdown is still on going to get rid of prostitution in and around the city.
The Minister of Ethics Integrity Fr.Simon Lokodo while addressing the media at Uganda media centre expressed concern over increasing prostitution in the country.
He further said that prostitution should to be dealt with and morals restored
Lokodo also said the government has all the resources to curb these activities and a squad of operatives both in intelligence and enforcement will be cracking down on whoever is involved in selling, buying and hosting bean vendors
