At least 35 teams have already confirmed participation in the 6th edition of Ndejje Woodball Open scheduled to for March 28 to 29 at the Luweero Main campus.
The two-day tournament will feature Clubs, Universities, Primary and Secondary schools.
The battle for the trophy and medals will be based on stroke and knockout basis.
The hosts won last year’s 5th edition tournament that saw Lillian Zawedde seeded number 1 and scooping the 2014 USPA female player of the year.
Zawedde took the ladies crown with 95 strokes while Bruno Bbosa toppled the men’s category with 62 strokes.
Expected Universities to feature in the tournament include the hosts Ndejje University, Nkumba University, Uganda Christian University, Busoga University, Muteesa II Royal University, Busitema and Multitech Business School
Clubs like Botladz and Entebbe Club have also confirmed that they will participate.
Schools to turn-up include; Bombo Umea, Happy Hours, Green Acres, Bombo Barracks, Abujebra, Kilimanjaro, Nkokonjeru Islamic, St. Francis, Bembe Hill and many more.
John Baptist Kateregga the Uganda Woodball Federation has pledged to see a tight competitive tournament where new unknown talents are expected to generate stiff competition.
