As a sign of motivation, early this week, out of the 1200 employees who work at his Rosebud farm, at least 700 employees benefited in the acquisition of free mattresses which were donated  to them by Ruparelia Group.

While speaking to Red pepper, the farm manger, Ravi Kumar, said that, giving out such gifts will become an annual practice especially to the employees who will have spent a year working with them.

These mattresses are part of the fair trade the company offers.

Besides the mattresses, Kumar added that, the company also has plans including opening up a ‘No margin’ supermarket that will enable employees get groceries at a cheap price.

Just of recent, a ten bed-roomed clinic where employees get access to first aid services was also opened up at the company premises.

On top of rendering medical treatment to its workers, Rosebud has also considered distributing free condoms to its workers to guarantee their safety and life.

“Actually we want to live and at the same time work like one family. We now provide our workers with free break-fast and lunch alongside the free drinking water which we have actually started giving out also to out neighbouring community,” Kumar explained.
