Nominations for the Second Edition of StarQt have kicked off with revealers nominating their best contenders in various categories.
“2015 nominations for Starqt Awards are open. Full list of nominees will be published next month,” said Stella Nankya the organizer of Starqt Awards.
She further said that this year’s edition will not only feature Ugandans but all other African countries.
“The Awards are now for the whole of Africa. All African countries that have their people in South Africa will be represented,” revealed Stella
The awards will premiered on May 2013 at Johannesburg City hall and the awards ceremony held on September 05 2015 at the same venue.
The Starqt Awards are being organised by Starqt Fashion House which is owned and managed by Stella Nankya a Ugandan model based in South Africa.
“Everything we do is fueled by our passion for celebrating the power of unity, acknowledging whose actions and hard work have impacted on the African Community in South Africa.”
The inaugural ceremony of the Starqt Awards last year attracted people from all walks of life and they were deemed the best awards organised by Ugandans in South Africa.
A few years ago, Stella represented Uganda at the Miss Asia Pacific beauty pageant in Seoul, South Korea.
