Following the brutal murder of state prosecutor Joan Kagezi on Monday week, the government has vowed to tighten up security of its prosecutors reduce such brutal incidents.
Apparently, they will be given protection both at their work places and homes to prevent any possible attacks from the assailants.
However, prosecutors handling controversial cases may receive the first priority since they seem to be the potential targets.
Meanwhile, the requiem mass of the fallen State attorney Joan Kagezi will be held tomorrow morning at St.Luke Church in Ntinda a Kampala suburb.
Burial will be held on the same day at her ancestral home in Buloba along Mityana road in what is expected to be a crowded event.
The late Joan Kagezi before dying was rumored to be on the line up of being appointed a judge at the high court.
She was however gunned down by mysterious assailants on Monday evening in Kiwatule at around 7:30pm as she was heading home.
While confessing what she saw, the daughter to the slain attorney only identified as Pearl identified the killer as a short brown man.
Police is already on the ground carrying out investigations into the matter using the leads they have already obtained.
