Uganda Cranes have landed an invite from the Malawian Football Federation and they will play an international friendly match on 6th of July 2015.

The match that is scheduled on the national day Celebrations of Malawi has been confirmed by Cranes head coach, Milutin Sredojevic at the weekly press conference held at the Federation headquarters (FUFA) in Mengo.

The match will be played at the national stadium of Malawi in Blantyre.

This is the fourth time the Cranes will be engaged in an international build up match in 2015 after hosting Ethiopia in January, traveling to Nigeria in May with their last Friendly match that saw them hosting Gambia early this month at the Nelson Mandela National Stadium.

“This friendly match will be vital in our preparations since we shall be in advanced preps for the first leg of the CAF U-23 away qualifier to Egypt in Alexandria,” Micho stated.

Last year the Cranes played a friendly match with the Malawi Flames on 14th of July at the Nelson Mandela Stadium while in preparations for hosting Equatorial Guinea in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers .
