Nigerian Artist Timaya Leaves Victoria University’s Boss Star Struck

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Enetimi Alfred Odon aka Timaya left Victoria University’s Marketing and Recruitment Specialist, Oscar Kamukama, in a jovial mood as he welcomed him at Entebbe airport.

Timaya arrived in the country and performed at the Club Mega Fest show at Kakindu stadium in Jinja District.

Smiling from ear to ear, Kamukama who was with the Promotions Executive Gloria Keza, both dressed in red t-shirts could not believe their eyes when they saw Timaya.

While at the airport, even before others could do it, Kamukama ‘stole the show’ when he rushed and asked to take a photo with Timaya who had just stepped out of the jet.

Though to some it was a surprise, many others took it easy after all Victoria University is one of the co-sponsors of the Club Mega Fest that not only rocked Jinja, but also, many of the Kampalans’ at the Water Front Beach-Entebbe.

He performed most of his songs such as; My body, Sanko, Bum Bum, that made locals go crazy with excitement.

“Actually, upon completion of their Exams, we issued close to 100 free tickets to our students to enjoy the Timaya concert live,” Kamukama said.

Others who graced the show were; our very own Radio and Weasel, David Lutalo, Maro and Sheebah, among others.

“Besides the academics, as a university of class, we plan to make it, a part of our policy, to bring such super star artists from various part of the World to entertain our students and Ugandans at large,” Rajiv Ruparelia, one of the university’s promoter said.
