Crane Bank Sign Deal With Xpress Money

As the year draws closer, Crane bank has expounded on its catalogue of non-banking services through the inclusion of Xpress Money, a company that is involved in money transfer services.

Corporate Buzz has learned that On Wednesday, top managers at the bank introduced this new engagement to its members promising that the bank is putting vast invest investments in services that give priority to non-bankers.

Syed Anwar Raza, the Executive Director Crane bank noted that Xpress Money has a global money transfer brand with a thriving presence in more than 150 countries in 5 continents across 170, 000 agent locations.

“We are also targeting the non-banking sector in our banking services. Xpress Money is a new provider in Uganda with a whopping 20% market share in money transfer services. Before the year closes, there are a number of innovations that we intend to unveil to our customers,” noted Raja.

During the same meeting, he revealed that Crane bank is now eyeing top telecom companies such that the services are included into their non-banking platform.
