Former KCCA FC winger Brian Majwega is set to join Tanzania’s Simba SC a move that will end his long spell out of active football ever since joining Azam FC.
Majwega who switched from KCCA FC has struggled to secure a permanent starting slot for Azam FC with the club having once cited that he is unfit for serious match action.
Latest reports from Tanzania have indicated that the former KCCA FC winger is on the verge of joining giants Simba SC.
Prior to that, Azam had filed a report to FIFA against Majwega’s action of training with another club in the names of Simba yet he was still a registered club player of the former.
However with only a day off, the two sides have reached a mutual consent to let the versatile player join Simba. This is according to Simba SC official website statement.
“Azam and Simba Sports Club have come to a mutual agreement over the transfer of Brian Majwega to Msimbazi Reds,” reads the statement.
On Tuesday evening Jaffer Idd Azam FC’s media personnel too confirmed that the club was in advanced transfer negotiations with Simba.
“It is true that Simba officials have inquired the availability of Majwega. We are still in close discussions over his move, but we will soon announce the development,” Idd remarked.
