Hassan Katende famously known as Mafia 1 is Uganda’s Mafia in the music industry

Born in Luwero and raised in Makindye which is the home of most Ugandan based musicians.

Mafia 1 has spent 10 years in South Africa where he runs his business and music as a carrier.

His very popular not only to the Ugandan Community in South Africa but also in the whole world since his music is based on real inspirational stories.

Mafia 1 has been performing at big concerts in Mount Casino, Coca Cola Dome, Sun City, Cape Town, Durban and he has travelled different countries including Namimbia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Britain, Sweden and many other Scandinavian countries.
