The incarcerated Nakawa Municipality MP, Michael Kabaziguruka on Monday vowed in front of Court Martial officials that he won’t appear again after his Treachery case where he is charged alongside 24 others was not heard, despite being on the order paper.
Kabaziguruka was infuriated when the court was adjourned to the following day before hearing his case, having sat for over 8 hours waiting to be called to defend himself against the charges.
Court martial Chairman Lt Gen Andrew Gutti decided to push some cases to the following day, Tuesday after hearing some cases for almost 8 hours, saying he was too exhausted.
Kabaziguruka was unhappy with the adjournment, saying that he already didn’t want to come to court because he was felling unwell.
He went ahead to advise the Military Police officers not to bother picking him again for court because he is not ready to waste more of his time coming.
“I am not coming back to this court. It’s now upon the court to do whatever they feel like; they can proceed with the hearings on this matter up to when they will give their judgment but am not ready to come back here.”
The Court Martial Registrar Maj. John Bizimana tried to convince him to attend court as it is scheduled but Kabaziguruka maintained his stand.
