What Caused Mafabi’s Death Revealed

The former Makindye Court chief magistrate Richard Mafabi, 51, who died over the weekend, and the cause of his mysterious death remained unclear until the postmortem results were released.
According to Daily Monitor that interviewed his wife Jackie Ninsiima, the husband died of blood clot in the brain.
“What I can confirm is that my husband died of blood clot in the brain according to the postmortem report…” Ninsiima said.
However, FDC Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye who was addressing the media at his Kasangati residence shortly after he jetted into the country, said it’s important that the country reflects on the unclear deaths that he said have become common lately, including deaths on aircrafts.
Mafabi was much known for his brevity in summoning the IGP Kale Kayihura and other 7 police officers over criminal charges of torturing Besigye supporters in June this year.
The burial arrangements are still ongoing, and the family in collaboration with the judicial service is yet to announce the date for his burial.
