The two-day old conjoined twins who were born at Nagalama hospital have died at Mulago hospital where they were admitted yesterday.
According to the father, his twins breathed their last at around 8pm yesterday.
The hospital spokesperson Enock Kusaasira said the female babies were admitted in critical condition and Doctors could do very little or possibly nothing to save their lives.
The babies were born to 28 -year-old Sarah Aliyiza and Ziyadi Mugoya, residents of Nampirika B in Iganga district.
The twins were joined at the abdomen and doctors were still examining the body parts they were sharing and how best they could separate them to save their lives.
Medical experts explain that cases of Siamese twins are a result of failure by identical twins to separate.
