Sheema Development Association to commemorate World AIDS Day in style

Sheema Development Association (SDA) will join Sheema District Administration in commemoration of the world AIDS Day which will take place on 1st December, 2016, under the theme “Standing up for HIV Prevention”.
According the Association chairman, Musinguzi Byarabaha, SDA is committed to HIV Prevention and other health initiatives to ensure a healthy productive population in Sheema district and Uganda at large.
In a bid to bring all youth on board and the society at large that day, SDA has organized numerous activities that will be conducted on December 01 at Kitagata Secondary School.
“There shall be a football game between SDA and Kitagata SS staff, students will participate in an HIV quiz where the winner will take good dimes,” Byarabaha said before adding that; “We also have a team of experts who will provide knowledge and information on benefits of HIV free society.”
World AIDS Day is the first ever global health day since 1st December, 1988 and its main purpose is to unite people worldwide to fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died of AIDS.
