Uganda Muslim Supreme Council Breaks Silence On Kiggundu Assassination
Uganda Muslim Supreme Council has asked government to speed up the investigations into the continuous murder of Muslim Clerics in Uganda.
While speaking to Journalists, Sheik Muhammed Ali Waiswa the second deputy mufti of Uganda Muslim Supreme Council said that; “We were saddened of the news of his death and we were perturbed why these incidents are continuing to happen and we are calling upon the government to do whatever it is in their means to see that these kind of incidents cease because out people are losing hope and getting highly affected.”
He further revealed that they still have faith in Government and hope justice will prevail in the due course.
“We have hope that the government is still in control and it can bring to justice all those who are involved in such murder.”
