KCCA Planner, Agaba Dies in Motor Accident

Kampala Capital City Authority’s Director of Physical Planning, George Ninsiima Agaba has died in a road accident.

The accident happened on Saturday afternoon along Mbarara – Insingiro road.

The accident happened when the driver of the car registration number, UG 0672B in which they were travelling, lost control while  ‘trying to avoid knocking a pedal cyclist.’ The car overturned several times.

Agaba died on arrival to Mbarara hospital.

Dr. Violet  Kajubiri, the sister to president Museveni working with Education service commission sustained a broken leg.

The driver Kyaligonza Joseph was unconscious and bodyguard cpl Atwine Francis got minor injuries.

The three were airlifted to Kampala as soon as possible.

Agaba previously served in the defunct Kampala City Council (KCC) as deputy director of physical planning.

He was promoted to head the department during the transition between the old regime of KCC and the new one KCCA.
