Mubiru, Nsimbe Fired

By Serestino Tusingwire

Vipers SC president Lawrence Mulindwa on Sunday December 04, fired three club coaches following poor performance in Azam Uganda premier league.

The three; head coach Abdallah Mubiru, his assistant George Nsimbe and Luyinda John were relieved of their duties following Saturday’s 2-1 loss to SC Villa, a result that left the Kitende-based side 11 points adrift of leaders KCCA after 13 games.

According to Mulidwa, the trio was not working towards the club’s prime target which is winning this season’s trophy.

“Vipers is committed to winning this year’s Azam Uganda Premier League and offering competitive and entertaining football to our fans and partners,” Part of the statement reads.

Meanwhile, is it alleged that these might be replaced by the club’s former coaches Edward Golola and Richard Wasswa who are responsible for Vipers’ only two league triumphs in 2010 and 2015

Vipers return to league action tomorrow away to mid table Saints in Bombo.
