Jennifer Musisi Puts A smile On Luzira Inmates, Calls Ugandans To Make a Contribution

KCCA’s Executive Director Jennifer S Musisi led a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) drive at Luzira Maximum Security Prison at which she handed over a donation of school furniture towards improving Education service.

During her earlier visit in June this year, Jennifer Musisi learnt that the Prison school system has unique challenges, resource constrained, and that, the learning environment and facilities have a negative effect on their academic achievement.

She said “I paid a visit to Luzira Maximum Security Prison for a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) drive to support, share love and a word of encouragement with our Friends at the facility”.

Jennifer said “I believe this donation of school furniture, coupled with other amenities we have availed with partners including water systems to access clean water, stationery, cleaning equipment, scholastic materials, among other supplies will make their learning experience and environment conducive to subsequently improve grades and give them a better chance to life once they are out of prison”.

The people at the facility are part of us and we should not forget them. It’s in our interest as Citizens to contribute to the welfare of the Prison Community. I appeal to other Ugandans to make a contribution -there is always something tactile we can do to restore hope , dignity and improve their lives to become useful citizens.

We are happy to make a contribution to their education , give them the support they need to thrive as they get reformed to enable them attain their life dreams.
