Promoter Balaam Barugahara has spoken out on allegations that he influenced the removal of singer Bobi Wine from the list of artists to share the stage with Bujju Banton and replaced him with Bebe Cool. More so, he narrates that he has no problem working with Bobi Wine because he is one of the artists he started working with but will not campaign for him or agree with his political ideas. “There are documents I am yet to sign with bujju’s team and we have a non-disclosure agreement. Then they will show me what is inside because they made the initial contacts of who they want on stage. So, Bobi wine getting off the list of acts has nothing to do with me. I am just a promoter,” he said. “If they want Bobi to perform, I don’t have the powers not to, I am just a promoter. The one thing I can’t do for him is a campaign for him. He is my friend, I worked with him when I was starting out, he is my good friend but when it comes to politics, I don’t agree with him,” he added.
