Diamond Platnumz self a Ugandan, amidst performance at Comedy Store

Tanzania’s sensational singer Nasibu Abdul Juma aka Diamond Platnumz claimed he is a Ugandan whilst performing as the guest singer last week at Comedy store gig.

As much anticipated the singer flew in the country on Wednesday morning ahead of the stand-up comedy gig hosted weekly every Thursdays by Alex Muhangi at UMA showground.

Many couldn’t wait to see Diamond clash over again with his Ex-lover Zari but they lost the bet, the two never threw words at each other.

Fortunately, as he had promised to showcase his best talents; singing and dancing, so he did, to the extent that revelers wanted more of his performance.

Breaking the news to shock many, Diamond claimed he is a Ugandan as well since his father is a Ugandan by origin.

“You know I am half a Ugandan, half Tanzanian. My dad is originally from Uganda. So this is my home,” Diamond clarified while on stage amidst his performance.

This left no doubt, ‘probably’ that’s why he has too much love for Zari compared other ladies in his love circle. Perhaps, normally any other wouldn’t take chances to perform in a country of an ex-lover when she actually among the audience.

The singer serenaded the gig outperforming his songs; ‘Tetema, Number one, Katika, Marry you, Salome, Inama, Ntapata Wapi, Hallelujah, the one’ among others.

This was the third time of his performance in the country following the Spark Tv launch event and Kampala festival gigs respectively. The singer was accompanied by Kenya’s comedian, Eric Omondi, besides Ugandan entertainers; King Saha, Mariachi, Kalela among others.

This was Alex Muhangi’s biggest comedy store event hosting over 3000 people. He still stands his promise “to bring an international entertainer monthly.” Watch the space.
