Kampala – The former presidential press secretary, Tamale Mirundi has dismissed talks that Bobi Wine’s car was bought by National Unity Platform (NUP) Supporters, RedPepper learns.
Mortar mouth Mirundi further lashed out citing that the former presidential candidate’s vehicle as bought by his foreign funders after he allegedly appealed to them that his life was in danger.
“NUP supporters are predominantly jobless and have no resources to buy their self-styled principal, Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) a bullet proof vehicle,” said Mirundi.
He further warned Bobi Wine not to think that his external forces will guarantee him a win against president-elect Yoweri Museveni.
“President Museveni never had external forces while coming to power, whoever is in partnership with the ‘Bazungu’ won’t succeed,” added Mirundi.
On the other hand, Mirundi cited that Bobi Wine’s decision to withdraw the election petition from the Supreme Court dents Museveni and NRM’s credibility on diplomatic levels.
