Africanacity! Absa Boost Team Uganda With UGX54.5M Facilitation Fund


Kampala – Top bank, Absa Uganda has given Team Uganda a boost ahead of the 2021 Tokyo Summer Olympics to the tune of the UGX 54.5m facilitation fund.

The sponsorship will go towards clinical consideration, health care coverage, and preparing units for the group of 22 that involves among other different game disciplines; athletics, swimmers, and boxers.

Addressing the press facilitated by the Uganda Olympic Committee, Helen Basuuta Nangonzi, Absa Bank Uganda’s Marketing and Customer Experience Director said, “I applause the group for making Uganda glad by meeting all requirements for the Olympic Games, which is a remarkable accomplishment.”

The 100-day commencement to the games commenced Monday April 19.

This year’s late spring Olympics will happen between 23rd July and 8th August, in the wake of being delayed from 2020 over the COVID-19 pandemic.
