Details have emerged as to why President Yoweri Museveni, who is also the Commander in chief of the armed forces appointed Jennifer Bamuturaki as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Uganda Airlines.
After several months of serving in an acting capacity, Bamuturaki has been appointed the substantive CEO of Uganda Airlines replacing Cornwell Muleya.

Muleya was appointed the CEO of Uganda Airlines in 2019 but his woes started on April 21, 2021, after Works Minister Katumba Wamala sent him and 12 other top officials on forced leave.
