Airtel New Uganda Cranes Sponsors

Airtel Uganda have taken over arch-rivals MTN Uganda’s mantle as Uganda Crane’s official sponsors in a 4-year Shs. 1.05billion per year deal being unveiled on Monday  28 October at Serena Hotel in  Kampala.

MTN Uganda had on September, 1 2010 unveiled a sponsorship package of UGX 1.4 billion for Uganda’s national soccer team, the Uganda

Cranes. The support package was the largest ever provided to the Cranes by a corporate organisation.

Airtel Uganda company’s board member Hannington Karuhanga also announces that the deal will include the sponsorship of Uganda Cup formerly known as Kakungulu Cup and the FUFA Big Leage at Shs.100m per year.
